A new sun has risen and from the very first few moments is proved really favourable to us... A music video to “Hypoxia” is being prepared, “the Wait” album is being recorded and “Wake Up Call” out of it will break surface really soon... But lets dive deeper into some things we've been doing lately...
Phase Secret Talks
We will soon bring to light, a small jam session/rehearsal with our good friends Thanos Kandylas and Maria Athanasiadou or The G Sus Saves String Duet or G String Duet for short (cheap, ineffective, sex driven, word play humour) that turned out to be something really amazing, since our friends,nay, brothers, Labros Vasilos and Aris Liapis were attending... Another member of our family, Stergios Kokoltsis lend an amazingly useful hand in taming the audio waves, which was a total mess, because we put the condenser mic in a random position since we were missing the adaptor to plug the headphones to the sound-card (Bill and Labros were stuck in traffic for about an hour to buy a wrong adaptor and that's only the tiniest example to show why COMMUNIcation is the corner stone of a COMM-UNIty... We are working everyday to that direction and we are well aware that relationships have a life on their own, and need to be taken cared of, every day) and I couldn't hear what I was singing BUT it turned out to be something really unique, sincere and thus, BEAUTIFUL...We got used to the series of unfortunate events that are constantly happening to us anyway (You can't imagine what happened with the “Hypoxia” shootings with us and our crew of two)... But still, we can just easily admit that we are completely unorganized (missing planning is making our lives far more interesting at times, from the moment we have acquired a partial insensitivity to angst, and despair won't flirt with us... Totally Rock aren't we? The truth is we greatly admire people who have an order in their thoughts and lives and we are so getting there...) and stop making jokes about our fate because we happen to be really blessed with wonderful interpersonal relationships with the beautiful people that surround us and we turn out to be as really ungrateful by doing so...
Another truth is that what transforms a five line message like “hello we are recording this thing and it's about to be out by approximately next week” to a philosophical essay with poetic touches is that some people who think they need guidance, and also think they need the magic, and that fantasy is necessary to support reality and our plan since the beginning was to built a road using reference marks from common escapism symbols printed to the selective subconscious to help someone escape TO reality not FROM reality... All this and more... Are described beautifully and thoroughly on the “Next Conclusion to Fade – Clearing out the Statics” Free E-book that's being created, a bit slowly but steadily, on the little time that's left during the day...
Other projects that are left behind are reviewed and shorted out and we are getting back to them as soon as possible... Everything is being shorted out actually, like we are deciding where to take Phase consciously and which means should be used and how...
Some more news are that we all did catch a terrible, disgusting and irritating cold (I won't proceed into details...), water and tea with honey seem to make the rocking world go round lately... Back to music; we are planing some acoustic evenings while Philip Bourdenas one of the newest entries on the Phase family (at least formally because we are into this a year now...) is planning some more stops on our trip. Also here is the place where we can say a big hello to Nick Kalogirou our new online helper...
Any way, we hope you enjoy experiencing Phase... And if it's not that pleasant or you find it time consuming or harmful for you, you can just press stop on the CD player, X on the browser controls, switch channel and so forth and so on (like you should do with EVERYTHING!!!
